Can the colour pink be liberated from its ociations with gay?

I do not think pink has anything to do with being gay. I have seen some of the most beautiful masculine men wear pink. More often than not these day PINK is ociated with Cancer Awareness. As a tribute to women everywhere who have lost their battle or those that have survived Pink is THEIR color and does not belong to the gay community.
