Confronting a teacher who yells and screams at the kids?

I would request a meeting with the teacher and principal. Get the other mom go with you also so its not just your word against the teachers( she most likely will deny it). Tell the principal exactly what your daughter told you about that day and aslo how she is scared to go to the cl now. See what happens at that meeting. I would give the teacher a second chance but as soon as anything even remotely similar happened I would skip the principal and go straight to school board and demand diciplinary actions against the teacher. Every kid deserves and needs a safe environment at school and needs to be protected from bullying, especially if the bully is the teacher. Everything else fails threaten the school to go public with the story. I'm sure they dont want that kind of publicity. Good luck
