Can the of conflict be ignored once understood?

In most every religion you find the following motto... Do to others as you want others to act towards you. Remember that it may take a lifetime or two for someone to feel the conviction of their actions, but at some point in time they finally do. Inner peace does not come easily it is something one works at constantly.
