Do any other hunters experience this?

where me and my father go hunting in Leeton, Missouri we have steadily noticed that while hunting in deer season we usually see more turkey's than deer and in turkey season we see more deer than turkey. have you ever noticed this where you go hunting? it doesn't have to be specifically deer and turkey but while hunting one game animal you see more of another that's out of season.
