Standard deviation question?

If I have a number with 4 sig figs (0.8106) and the standard deviation is (0.04183), should I leave the standard deviation as it is, with 4 sig figs, or truncate it to 3 sig figs (0.0418) so it doesn't go past the last digit of the original number?
